The Three Dimensions of Economic Vitality

Every asset — whether a property, a skill, a luxury object, a network, or time itself — exists at the intersection of three forces. These forces are not opinions. They are structural dimensions that can be measured, compared, and activated.

VE (Valeur d'Existence) is what the market already knows. It is the floor price, the comparable, the liquidity assessment. VE answers: "What would this fetch today, in the most obvious transaction?"

VU (Valeur d'Usage) is what the holder experiences. Functional utility, hedonic pleasure, social signal, option value. VU answers: "Why does this matter to the person who holds it?"

VX (Valeur d'Échange) is what the right buyer will pay. It is the activation dimension — where dormant value becomes economic reality. VX answers: "What transaction is actually possible, with whom, and under what conditions?"

The IVE Principle

The Economic Vitality Index (IVE) measures the alignment between these three dimensions. It is not a price. It is not a prediction. It is a diagnostic of balance.

A high IVE means the asset is correctly positioned — its market visibility, its usage value, and its transaction potential are in harmony.

A low IVE reveals dissociation — one dimension is lagging, creating friction, missed opportunity, or invisible value.

The formula is deterministic. The same inputs always produce the same score. No AI opinion can override it.

Why This Matters

Most economic decisions are made with incomplete information. People know what they paid (VE), or what they feel (VU), or what they hope to get (VX) — but rarely all three simultaneously.
